Council of Six

The Council of Six, also known as The Six, is the name given to the Kirin Tor high council of Dalaran. These six individuals are both the leaders of the city and of all territories under the control of Dalaran.
Over the years, the composition of the Six has often changed.
Traditionally, the membership of the Council of Six was kept a strict secret. When someone met with the Council officially, it was always in a special, enchanted chamber, and the Six would be disguised to keep their identity a secret. Of course, in a city populated by magi, such efforts were not always successful, as Khadgar proved with little effort.[1]
More recently, it seems that the identity of the Council is less secretive, as Modera in particular signs herself off as one of the Six.

Rhonin - Current leader of the Kirin Tor.
Modera - Longest-standing member (if Krasus is not a member anymore).[2]
Aethas Sunreaver - Grants Horde sanctuary in Dalaran.

Ansirem Runeweaver - Previous ruler of Dalaran/Kirin Tor.
- Drenden - Fate unknown; member during the Second War.[2]
Krasus - Humanoid form of Korialstrasz; Known member during the Second War[2] now found at Wyrmrest Temple. Current membership status unknown.

- Antonidas - Leader of the Kirin Tor at the time he was killed by Arthas Menethil.
Kael'thas Sunstrider - Prince of Quel'Thalas; likely abandoned membership following the destruction of the city.
Kel'Thuzad - Necromancer-turned-lich (though not at the time of membership); abandoned his position to found the Cult of the Damned.

- Baratea - Said to be a leader of the Kirin Tor and a powerful archmage.
Khadgar - Formerly Medivh's apprentice; Advisor to the naaru named A'dal. Not originally a member of the Six.
Jaina Proudmoore - Formerly Antonidas's apprentice; Leader of the island port of Theramore. Not originally a member of the Six, but she seems to be working closely with Rhonin to solve the crisis in Ulduar. Has been called the most powerful mortal sorceress on Azeroth.
- Archmage Vargoth - Leader of the first Kirin Tor expedition to Draenor during The Invasion of Draenor. Status with the Six is unknown.
- Archmage Cedric - Leader of the Violet Eye. Status with The Six is unknown.
- Magister Teronus III - Offers the neutral version of
[74] The Magical Kingdom of Dalaran. Considering that the Horde and Alliance versions are given by a member of the Six. Status with the Six is unknown.
Grand Magus Telestra - Defected from the Kirin Tor and sided with Malygos. Guard of one part of Keristrasza's prison and leader of the effort to redirect the ley lines in the Dragonblight. Status with the Six is unknown.
