Overview

As of 1.11, you can receive a Craftsman's Writ in Light's Hope Chapel. Each writ is a quest to return a specific quantity of some item back to NPC Dispatch Commander Metz. In order to receive one writ, you need to turn in one Argent Dawn Valor Token. Each writ is random and for completing each one you may choose either a Insignia of the Dawn or Insignia of the Crusade and also receive some reputation increase with the Argent Dawn. These are turned in for rare and epic items from the quests Superior Armaments of Battle and Epic Armaments of Battle. The Insignia of the Crusade is also used for the Ice Guard and Shadow Guard, which are leg and helm resist enchants.

Reputation

Obtaining a Craftman's Writ by turning in a Valor Token gives 1000 reputation the first time (as of 2.1.2 and possibly earlier; previously it awarded 200), 20 reputation each repeat (as of patch 2.2).

Completing each Craftman's Writ gives 200 Argent Dawn reputation (as of patch 2.2) every time.
