Cranes are a type of water bird indigenous to the continent of Pandaria. Most have bright plumage, varying in colors including white, green, blue, and pink. They are found near most of the major inland waterways.

Though hunters can respec their pet cranes into Ferocity or Tenacity, they are inherently Cunning. In addition to the abilities that come standard with all pets ([Cower], [Growl], [Avoidance]) and those given to their natural or retrained specialization, all cranes are given the following:
