Notes

Widely regarded as a must-have talent, 5/5 Cruelty works out as an extra one Critical Hit every twenty swings - a significant boost to long-term average DPS, regardless of weapon choice.

Its position at the very top of the Fury tree means that no matter what the overall build strategy, it is very easy to fit this in, and even end-game Protection Tanks often sacrifice five points from their chosen tree, to add this to their arsenal.

For lower-leveled developing Warriors, this makes an excellent first step in a versatile Fury/Arms build that will help them reach the end-game in a quicker time.

The only minor downside to the talent is that it only applies to melee weapons, not ranged or unarmed. However, most Warriors are rarely without a melee weapon aside from the pull itself, or the occasional Disarm.

Combine this with Berserker Stance and weapon specializations from the Arms tree to gain even more Critical Hit chance, and keep an eye out for weapons that boost it still further.
