Dark Intent is a new warlock ability that comes with Cataclysm, learned at level 83 for 25 80 . It was first announced in the Cataclysm warlock preview.
Dark Intent increases the haste of the caster and target by 3%. When the target lands a critical hit with a damage over time or healing over time spell tick, the warlock gets a buff to his/her damage and healing over time effects for 7 seconds and vice-versa. This effect stacks up to three times.
