Dark Rune Sentinels are adds for the Ulduar boss Razorscale that spawn during the opening phases of the fight.

Attacks and abilities

Heroic mode

• Whirlwind – 30,000-40,000 physical on cloth.

Normal mode

• Whirlwind – ?? physical on cloth.

Strategies

This add should be tanked by an off-tank at all times. When these pop, they are first priority for the dps and should be killed immediately. The Whirlwind ability should also be interrupted as much as possible.

Patch changes

• Hotfix (2009-04-15): "The Dark Rune Sentinels in the 10 player Razorscale encounter have had hit points and damage reduced. ^[1]"
