This card will sometime proc (between 4% to 8%, usually) with the use of standard '''melee''' attacks against an enemy. It does '''not''' proc with the use of special attacks or additional free strikes. In addition, unlike most similar trinkets and enchants, the proc chance ''seems'' to be variable depending on the weapon speed, adjusting itself to give a standard rate of healing per minute, and not a standard proc chance per hit. The proc chance also seem to take into effect the modified speed and not the weapon default, so speed-increasing skill, such as Slice and Dice, seem to actually lower the proc chance per hit (while still keeping with the same ratio of healing per second). While additional testing are required, it seems the ratio is for a heal every 20-30 seconds. However, this is just the mean average and several healing effects in a row can take place.

As such, this card is not aimed specifically, as might seem at first glance, to fast-hitting fighters such as Fury Warriors or Rogues. Due to the fixed-timer healing effect, with grants an average of 350-450 health per minute, to a tank in a small five-man party (as such healing is very insignificant in raids). It might also be handy in PvP to the occasional, surprising heal.

Darkmoon Cards comprise four sets called Decks (Beasts, Elementals, Portals, and Warlords) of eight Cards each (Ace through Eight). Once all the Cards of a certain deck have been collected, use any of those Cards to combine them into a Deck. The Cards and the Deck are [[BoE]] and the Deck can be made by a character of any level, but the corresponding trinket is [[BoP]] and has a required level of 60.

INV Misc Ticket Tarot Heroism 01

The Darkmoon Card: Heroism, one of four level-60 Darkmoon Cards, is a trinket received by turning in the Inv misc ticket tarot warlords02 [Warlords Deck] at the Darkmoon Faire.

This card will sometime proc (between 4% to 8%, usually) with the use of standard melee attacks against an enemy. It does not proc with the use of special attacks or additional free strikes. In addition, unlike most similar trinkets and enchants, the proc chance seems to be variable depending on the weapon speed, adjusting itself to give a standard rate of healing per minute, and not a standard proc chance per hit.

The healing effect also has about 8% chance to crit, thus granting double healing from that proc. All such healing generates threat just like a similar healing flash by a priest, paladin or druid.
