Notes
- Usable while moving.
- Can be used with Cold Blood.
- Does not work with Ruthlessness.
- High Warlord's Leather Gloves, Gladiator's Leather Gloves, and Opportunist's Leather Gloves improve Deadly Throw to interrupt casting and silence the target in that school of magic for 3 seconds.
Tips and tactics
- Instant cast and unaffected by weapon speed, so it favors slower throwing weapons.
- Useful if you want to open with Cheap Shot on a mage. They will probably blink out of it, but if your crippling poison hasn't snared them, this will. However, Garrote (with its silence effect at later levels) or Ambush may still be better choices when opening against a mage.
Known bugs
Past changes
- In Patch 2.3, missile speed increased significantly and snare duration increased slightly.
