The Deadwind are a group of ogres found in Deadwind Pass that are dedicated to cleansing the region of all interlopers. Some speak of a "master", but it's unknown to whom they refer. They dress in foul rags, carry crude, rough weapons, and build their mounds into the very cliffside along the southern pass to look down upon the road, always at the ready to ambush curious adventurers. Few have escaped the attacks of this violent group.[1]

These ogres live in Deadwind Ogre Mounds, a village with a population of 700, and are led by Warlord Kolbine[1]

Neither the village nor Warlord Kolbine appear in World of Warcraft; the ogres instead live in an area called the Vice.
