Dejahna

Dejahna was the high priestess of Elune during the War of the Ancients,^{WoE 137} and a staunch supporter of Lord Kur'talos Ravencrest, who led the Kaldorei Resistance against the Burning Legion. Dejahna was mortally wounded in battle against Hakkar the Houndmaster, one of the Legion's lieutenants. Her last act before death was to name her successor, one who was favored by Elune and filled with the light of the goddess herself — the current high priestess, Tyrande Whisperwind.

In the book War of the Ancients writen by Richard A. Knaak it the high priestess is lanced by a demon in the stomach during the push back to Suramar. It also mentions that she would have survived if a felbeast go to her before she could heal herself. It does not mention the high priestesses name but seeing as Tyrande was one of her students this must be said night elf.
