Despawn

Despawn is when a mob or an npc suddenly disappears. Despawn may also refer to an aggressive mob suddenly running away or being summoned away into another dimension, such as at the kill of Kel'Thuzad in Naxxaramas when the large bug ads run away into the scenery at the site of their master's death.
