Desperate Measures is a passive monk ability learned at level 45 for those with the Brewmaster specialization. It removes the cooldown from [Expel Harm] when the monk is at or below 35% health, allowing the monk to heal and also discharge part of that healing to the enemy in the form of damage.

Patch changes

• Patch 5.1.0 (27-Nov-2012): Desperate Measures now also resets the cooldown on Expel Harm when the Monk is below 35% health. 
  
• Patch 5.0.4 (28 August 2012): Added.
