Diseased Black Bears are level 51-52 bears found in the Western Plaguelands. Curious new players heading east of Tirisfal Glades and not knowing that the Western Plaguelands is lvl 50-58, often aggro these from really far away and are killed rather quickly. Because of this, they are jokingly called Welcome Bears. The Venom Mist Lurkers also have been known to kill curious new players.
