Disengage causes you to leap backward up to 13 yards, like a knock-back, but for yourself (or like a backwards Blink).

Uses
This ability is highly useful in escaping from melee range, not only in PvP, but also in PvE.
Notes
One of the classically infamous Hunter spells, can easily add additional mobs to a fight if an inexperienced Hunter Disengages without checking their rearview mirror.
If possible, jump right before you Disengage for an increased travel distance.
If Disengage is used at high places, hitting your Parachute Cloak or other slow fall effect will extend the length of your flight by incredible amounts. If used against mobs, they will almost always disaggro and return.
The leaping speed is 184% (If i remember correct), so you will move faster than 150% flying mount for a very short time. The speed increase will remain if you Disengage over a ledge and use a slow fall effect.
