Have... Have We Met? is an achievement related to Cataclysm questing. It is part of the meta-achievement 
[Veteran of the Molten Front].
A very large number of NPCs can possibly join players on the quest Quest:The Protectors of Hyjal, part of the Firelands Invasion daily quests. The NPCs do not have to be attached to the player in order for the /wave to count.
