In the spirit of the Pilgrim's Bounty holiday, this NPC is named after an actual Pilgrim. Myles Standish, also spelled "Miles", was an English military officer hired by the Pilgrims as military adviser for Plymouth Colony. He was even a passenger aboard the Mayflower.
