The Dragon Hunters was a group of dwarves lead by Feranor Steeltoe. As the name indicates, they hunted dragons.

During the Third War, they went to hunt down a black dragon named Searinox, hearing that drakes' blood could bestow fiery enchantments upon weapons. When Prince Arthas was passing by, Feranor asked him for help. Arthas along, with human Footmen and four dwarven Riflemen, went to the dragon's lair and fought against Black Dragon Whelps and Skeleton Archers, and finally defeated the dragon. Feranor forged an Orb of Fire with the heart of the dragon, while the riflemen continued to serve Arthas by helping him destroy a Blackrock clan village.^[1]
