Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest is a legendary caster staff introduced with Patch 4.2.0, the Firelands raid. It is named after the dragon Tarecgosa, who sacrifices herself to save Kalecgos from Arygos, Malygos's son, who has betrayed the whole of Azeroth by siding with Deathwing. Tarecgos's essence is bound to players, and via the below quests players are able to maintain that bond by gathering certain materials from the Firelands, long enough to take part in the Dragon Council that decides the next Aspect and leader of the Blue dragonflight. Tarecgos's essence is then sealed within the staff.
