The Dreadlord Insurgents were a faction within the Scourge, under the command of the lich Ras Splinterspine, whose loyalty lied with Balnazzar and the Burning Legion. During the Scourge Civil War, they fought against both the Undead forces commanded by Sylvanas Windrunner and Varimathras and the Lordaeron remnants lead by Garithos during the siege to Lordaeron. In the end, they were defeated by the Forsaken/Alliance combined forces.
