Druid abilities are wide-ranging, enabling one to specialize in any of the main roles in the game. Balance spells deal nature damage, restoration spells heal and provide support, feral combat abilities offer melee damage, while guardian abilities are for tanking.
Being shapeshifted is automatically removed if you attempt to cast a spell or ability not designated to your current form. There are times when switching forms is advantageous regardless what action is taking place. This is because switching between any form to another will automatically break any immobilizing or polymorph effects such as: Snare, Root, and Polymorph.
In the tables below, a symbol after the word "Feral" means that ability could only be used in Bear Form, and a symbol means the ability could only be used in Cat Form. Melee range is 5 yards.
The following abilities were available to all druids of the appropriate level, regardless of talent spec.
Shapeshift into cat form, causing agility to increase attack power. Also protects the caster from Polymorph effects and allows the use of various cat abilities.
Finishing move that causes damage per combo point and consumes up to 35 additional energy to increase damage by up to 100%. Damage is increased by your attack power.
Heals a friendly target for X to Y. Heals for an additional 20% if you have a Rejuvenation, Regrowth, Lifebloom, or Wild Growth effect active on the target.
Shapeshift into bear form, increasing armor contribution from cloth and leather items by X% and Stamina by 10%. Significantly increases threat generation, causes Agility to increase attack power, and also protects the caster from Polymorph effects and allows the use of various bear abilities.
Shapeshift into aquatic form, increasing swim speed by 50% and allowing the druid to breathe underwater. Also protects the caster from Polymorph effects.
Your damage spells and attacks have a small chance to cause you to enter a Clearcasting state. The Clearcasting state reduces the Mana, Rage or Energy cost of your next cast-time damaging or healing spell or offensive feral ability by 100%. If specialized as a Feral Druid, Omen of Clarity will also have a chance to occur from your auto-attacks.
Decreases the armor of the target by 4% for 5 min. While affected, the target cannot stealth or turn invisible. Stacks up to 3 times. Deals (AP * 0.15 + 1) damage and additional threat when used in Bear Form. 6 sec cooldown.
Increases the friendly target's Strength, Agility, Stamina, and Intellect by 5% and all magical resistances by X for 1 hour. If target is in your party or raid, all party and raid members will be affected.
Each time you deal a critical strike while in Bear Form, you have a 50% chance to gain Savage Defense, reducing the damage taken from the next physical attack that strikes you by 35% of your attack power.
Creates a violent storm in the target area causing X Nature damage to enemies every 1 sec, and increasing the time between attacks of enemies by 20%. Lasts 10 sec. Druid must channel to maintain the spell.
Shred the target, causing 450% damage plus X to the target. Must be behind the target. Awards 1 combo point. Effects which increase Bleed damage also increase Shred damage.
Forces the enemy target to sleep for up to 40 sec. Any damage will awaken the target. Only one target can be forced to hibernate at a time. Only works on Beasts and Dragonkin.
Increases maximum health by 30%, increases health to 30% (if below that value), and converts up to 10 rage per second into health for 20 sec. Each point of rage is converted into 0.15% of max health. 3 min cooldown.
While active, any time an enemy strikes the caster they have a 100% chance to become afflicted by Entangling Roots. 3 charges. Lasts 45 sec. 1 min cooldown.
The druid's skin becomes as tough as bark. All damage taken is reduced by 20%. While protected, damaging attacks will not cause spellcasting delays. This spell is usable while stunned, frozen, incapacitated, feared or asleep. Usable in all forms. Lasts 12 sec. 1 min cooldown.
Heals the target for X over 10 sec. When Lifebloom expires or is dispelled, the target is instantly healed for Y. This effect can stack up to 3 times on the same target.Lifebloom can be active only on one target at a time.
Lacerates the enemy target, dealing (X + (AP * 0.0766)) damage and making them bleed for (5 * (Y + (AP * 0.00512))) damage over 15 sec, and causing a high amount of threat. Damage increased by attack power. This effect stacks up to 3 times on the same target.
Heals 5 nearby lowest health party or raid targets within 30 yards with Tranquility every 2 sec for 8 sec. Tranquility heals for X plus an additional Y every 2 sec over 8 sec. Stacks up to 3 times. The Druid must channel to maintain the spell. 8 min cooldown.
Tosses the enemy target into the air, preventing all action but making them invulnerable for up to 6 sec. Only one target can be affected by your Cyclone at a time.
Finishing move that consumes combo points on any nearby target to increase autoattack damage done by 50%. Only useable while in Cat Form. Lasts longer per combo point.
Grow a magical Mushroom with 5 Health at the target location. After 6 sec, the Mushroom will become invisible. When detonated by the Druid, all Mushrooms will explode dealing 845 to 1021 Nature damage to all nearby enemies within 40 yards. Only 3 Mushrooms can be placed at one time. Use Wild Mushroom (10 Sec Cooldown): Detonate to detonate all Mushrooms.
Arcane and Nature spell damage increased by 15%. Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Wrath, Moonfire, Starfire, Starsurge, Insect Swarm and Starfall spells by 100%.
You fuse the power of the moon and sun, launching a devastating blast of energy at the target. Causes X to Y Spellstorm damage to the target and generates 15 Lunar or Solar energy, whichever is more beneficial to you. 15 sec cooldown.
Shapeshift into Moonkin Form. While in this form your Arcane and Nature spell damage is increased by 10%, reduces all damage taken by 15%, and increases spell haste of all party and raid members by 5%. The Moonkin can not cast healing or resurrection spells while shapeshifted.
You summon a violent Typhoon that does X Nature damage to targets in front of the caster within 30 yards, knocking them back and dazing them for 6 sec. 20 sec cooldown.
You summon a beam of solar light over the enemy target's location, interrupting the enemy target and silencing all enemy targets under the beam within 5 yards while it is active. Solar Beam lasts for 10 sec. 1 min cooldown.
You summon a flurry of stars from the sky on all targets within 40 yards of the caster, each dealing X to Y Arcane damage. Maximum 20 stars. Lasts 10 sec. Shapeshifting into an animal form or mounting cancels the effect. Any effect which causes you to lose control of your character will suppress the starfall effect. 1.5 min cooldown.
Mangle the target for 235% normal damage plus (X * 235 / 100) and causes the target to take 30% additional damage from bleed effects for 1 min. 6 sec cooldown.
Mangle the target for 460% normal damage plus (X * 460 / 100) and causes the target to take 30% additional damage from bleed effects for 1 min. Awards 1 combo point.
While in Cat Form or Bear Form, the Leader of the Pack increases critical strike chance of all party and raid members within 100 yards by 5%. In addition, your melee critical strikes in Cat Form and Bear Form cause you to heal for 4% of your total health and gain 8% of your maximum mana. This effect cannot occur more than once every 6 sec.
Deals 80% weapon damage plus additional (X * 80 / 100) damage for each of your Lacerate applications on the target, and increases your melee critical strike chance by 3% for each Lacerate application consumed for 10 sec.
Your Lacerate periodic damage has a 50% chance to refresh the cooldown of your Mangle (Bear) ability and make it cost no rage. In addition, when activated this ability causes your Mangle (Bear) ability to hit up to 3 targets and have no cooldown, and reduces the energy cost of all your Cat Form abilities by 50%. Lasts 15 sec. You cannot use Tiger's Fury while Berserk is active. 3 min cooldown.
Increases the damage absorbed by your Savage Defense ability by 32%. Each point of Mastery increases the absorb by an additional 4%. Requires Bear Form.
Grants an effect which lasts while the Druid is within the respective shapeshift form. Bear Form - Increases physical damage by 4%. Cat Form - Increases critical strike chance by 4%. Moonkin Form - Increases spell damage by 4%. Tree of Life/Caster Form - Increases healing by 4%.
Heals up to 5 friendly party or raid members within 15 yards of the target for X over 7 sec. Prioritizes healing most injured party members. The amount healed is applied quickly at first, and slows down as the Wild Growth reaches its full duration. 8 sec cooldown.
Shapeshift into the tree of life, increasing healing done by 15% and increasing your armor by 120%. Also protects the caster from Polymorph effects. In addition, some of your spells are temporarily enhanced while shapeshifted. Lasts 25 sec. Enhanced spells: Lifebloom, Wild Growth, Regrowth, Entangling Roots, Wrath. 3 min cooldown.
Your direct healing is increased by an additional 10% and casting your direct healing spells grants you an additional 10% bonus to periodic healing for 10 seconds. Each point of mastery increases each bonus by an additional 1.25%
