Druid Magical Ability Scalability
Druid spells scale in much the same way as other magical spells; refer to Formulas:Plus damage and Plus healing.
Druid Physical Ability Scalability
Some druid physical abilities are scaled like those of other physical classes: for example Claw, Shred, Ravage, Maul. They use the following formula:
- [(Base_Paw_Damage + Attack Power / 14) * Ability_multiplier + Flat_Ability_Bonus] * Talent_Multipliers
Some other abilities - for example Rake, Swipe, Ferocious Bite, Rip, Pounce - have a fixed damage specified in their tooltip. These abilities received no scalability for a long time, until Ferocious Bite and Rip received an attack power bonus in patch 1.12, and Rake, Swipe, and Pounce received an attack power bonus in patch 2.0.
| Icon | Ability | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| | Rake - Direct Damage | Attack Power / 100 |
| | Rake - Damage over Time (Full Duration) | Attack Power * 0.06 |
| | Rip - Damage over Time (Full Duration) | Attack Power * 0.24 (Rank 5) |
| | Ferocious Bite | Attack Power / 6 (Rank 5) |
| | Pounce (Full Duration) | Attack Power * 0.18 |
| | Swipe | Attack Power / 15 |
