Durnholde Syndrome is supposedly a World of Warcraft version of the Stockholm Syndrome, mentioned by Mountain-Lord Rendan in the quest Sweet, Horrible Freedom and by Nils Beerot in the quest Eastpoint Tower.

It apparently makes them grow an affinity for their captors after being locked up for so long.^[1]
