A Pledge of Adoration is a container item gained during the Love is in the Air event.

When you give a [Love Token] to a guard NPC from one of the major cities of your faction (excluding Exodar and Silvermoon), you gain a Pledge of Adoration and the [Adored] debuff. A non-guard NPC will give a Gift of Adoration which is has the same effects, but has a different name and item id. You cannot gain another Pledge of Adoration or Gift of Adoration until the Adored debuff ends.
While you have the Adored debuff you will get instead a Pledge of Friendship from a guard or a Gift of Friendship from a non-guard in exchange for a [Love Token].
You cannot get the pledges nor gifts of the other faction, since you cannot talk to the NPCs.
