Materials required:

Originally, creating Ebonweave required the tailor to go to the Altar of the Ebon Depths in Naz'anak: The Forgotten Depths, reachable only by a drop down a long shaft beneath Icecrown Citadel. After Patch 3.0.8, this requirement was removed; instead, tailors must now travel to the Maw of Neltharion, the cavern within the Obsidian Dragonshrine in Dragonblight. They only need to stand at the mouth of the cavern to create their Ebonweave.

• Creating Ebonweave gives the tailor a 30 minute buff Residue of Darkness (this buff does not persist through death).
• The cooldown on crafting Ebonweave is 4 days.
• Tailors who specialized in Shadoweave Tailoring receive 2 pieces of Ebonweave instead of one.
