The Elders' Path is a long stone stairwell that leads from the Ridge of Laughing Winds to the Wood of Staves in the western part of the Wandering Isle. Players who are not led here by Master Shang Xi are blocked from entering the Wood by a magical barrier at the top of the stairs.

Only after following Shang Xi and defeating the Guardian of the Elders can players then proceed.
