is a subzone of Gilneas. After surviving the worgen curse, the town was invaded by the Forsaken. They relocated the villagers to the mine, often forcing them to work to death.
This is a questing zone for both the Worgen and the Forsaken. Worgen players will be able to fight in a battle against the undead and "save" the Ruins of Gilneas. By the time undead players arrive, the battle has already occurred; they get the quest [15] Fall Back!, and find undead bodies scattered across the battleground.
