Emblem of Frost is a new currency which will be introduced with patch 3.3. It will also drop from bosses in Icecrown Citadel. It will be used to purchase ilvl 264 items.

5x Emblem of Frost (and 5x Emblem of Triumph) will also be a rewarded by completing weekly raid quests (similar to the current daily heroic dungeon system, but once a week).

2x Emblem of Frost will also be rewarded for completing the first PuG that you do, daily, using patch 3.3's new LFG system.
