Reagents[]

Inv enchant abysscrystal 6x [Abyss Crystal]

Source[]

The Inv enchant formulasuperior 01 [Formula: Enchant Weapon - Black Magic] can be purchased from Neutral Vanessa Sellers <Shard Trader>, located in Simply Enchanting in Dalaran. She sells the formula for 10 Inv enchant dreamshard 02 [Dream Shard].

Notes[]

  • The "glow" effect is the same as on Unholy Weapon, i.e. small green skulls flying around the weapon
  • Black Magic lasts for 10 seconds.
  • Has a 35 second internal cooldown.
  • Only procs for caster direct damage spells. "Physical magic" (paladin Hammer of Righteousness) and DOTs will not proc this.
  • Exceptions to the "Physical magic" are the Ability druid catform [Cat Form] abilities Ability druid mangle2 [Mangle] and Spell shadow vampiricaura [Shred]. Also, Ability racial bearform [Dire Bear Form] with Ability druid infectedwound [Infected Wounds] will proc the enchant with Ability druid mangle2 [Mangle] and Ability druid maul [Maul].[1]
  • Proc rate approximately 35%.

Patch changes[]

  • Wrath-Logo-Small Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): This enchantment now sometimes increases haste rating for the caster rather than inflicting the caster's target with a damage-over-time effect. It is also now triggered by landing any harmful spell rather than inflicting damage with a spell.
  • Wrath-Logo-Small Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Materials changed from 25 Infinite dust, 15 Greater Cosmic Essence, 10 Abyss Crystals to 6 Greater Cosmic Essence, 6 Dream Shard, 6 Abyss Crystal.
  • Wrath-Logo-Small Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
