Evangelism (Passive) Passive When you deal direct damage with ( Penance), Smite or Holy Fire you gain Evangelism. Stacks up to 5 times. Lasts for 20 sec. Evangelism Increases the damage done by your ( Penance), Smite and Holy Fire spells by 4% and reduces the mana cost of those spells by 6%.

Evangelism is a passive priest ability learned at level 44 for those with the Discipline or Holy specializations. For both, Evangelism is triggered by use of [Smite] and [Holy Fire]; discipline priests can also use [Penance]. Evangelism then increases the damage and decreases the mana cost of those spells for a short amount of time.

Patch changes

• Patch 5.2.0 (5-Mar-2013): Evangelism's stacking effect now also increases the healing of Penance. 
  
• Patch 4.1.0 (26-Apr-2011): The direct damage portion of Holy Fire can now trigger Evangelism.
