Gorkrak is the orc who lead the Twilight Hammer attack on the gathering of a Druid summit in Ashenvale during the events of The Shattering: Prelude to Cataclysm. The Druid summit was meant to reduce the rising tensions between the Horde and the Alliance, following a murder and skinning of a group of Sentinels in Ashenvale. Hamuul Runetotem and Elerethe Renferal headed the horde and alliance delegations; Hamuul was the only survivor of the attack, finding himself in a mass grave after being knocked out.[1]
After recovering, Hamuul sent word of the attack to Cairne Bloodhoof, who, believing it to be authorized by Garrosh, challenged the acting warchief to a mak'gora over the leadership of the Horde.
