The dynamite can backfire and explode on the thrower causing fire damage.
It was discovered in June 2010 that Ez-Thro Dynamite can be used to blow up a fishing pool. The result is a number of items that can apparently only be looted by characters level approximately 10-19. It is unknown if this is an intended feature or an unintended side effect of some sort.[1][2]
