Feast of Winter Veil icon

The subject of this article or section is part of Feast of Winter Veil, a seasonal event that lasts several weeks. Once the event has run its course, this will no longer be available until next year, but there are no guarantees.

Achievement worldevent xmasogre Neutral 15 Fa-la-la-la-Ogri'la 10 Money achievement
Complete the Neutral 15 [70 Daily] Bomb Them Again! quest while mounted on a flying reindeer during the Feast of Winter Veil.

Fa-la-la-la-Ogri'la is related to the seasonal world event, the Feast of Winter Veil. Completing this achievement is a criterion for the meta achievement Achievement worldevent merrymaker [Merrymaker].

LocationsEdit

Inv misc plant 03 [Fresh Holly] is acquired from a short list (Holly, Snowflakes, Mistletoe) when using a /kiss emote on a Neutral 15 Winter Reveler (not just any reveler), found in Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Outland inns. You recieve a 1 hour debuff when acquiring any of the items. In Dalaran, the revelers are in the faction-specific inns. You can also get Inv misc plant 03 [Preserved Holly] from Winter Veil quests.

The actual bombing run for Neutral 15 [70 Daily] Bomb Them Again! starts at the Skyguard Outpost in the west part of Blade's Edge Mountains.

StrategyEdit

Simply be sure to use your holly at the time you turn in the quest. See Bombing Run for help completing the quest.

NotesEdit

Completing Bombing Run will not give you credit. You must complete the daily Bomb Them Again!.

If you have not already unlocked the daily quest Neutral 15 [70 Daily] Bomb Them Again!, you will need to complete part the following quest chain:

  1. Neutral 15 [70] Speak with the Ogre or Neutral 15 [70] The Trouble Below
  2. Neutral 15 [70] Mog'dorg the Wizened
  3. Complete all three to continue:
  4. Neutral 15 [70+] Grim(oire) Business
  5. Neutral 15 [70+] Into the Soulgrinder
  6. Neutral 15 [70+] Speak with Mog'dorg (optional)
  7. Neutral 15 [70] Ogre Heaven
  8. Neutral 15 [70] The Crystals
  9. Neutral 15 [70] An Apexis Relic (optional)
  10. Neutral 15 [70] Our Boy Wants To Be A Skyguard Ranger
  11. Neutral 15 [70] A Father's Duty (optional)
  12. Neutral 15 [70] The Skyguard Outpost
  13. Neutral 15 [70] Bombing Run

Fortunately you don't have to do the entire chain. You can avoid the level 70 five-man elite mob fights and jump to step 8. Simply fly to Ogri'la to accept The Crystals from Chu'a'lor. Grind five Apexis Shards and hand them in. Then accept An Apexis Relic, which requires at least one extra shard. Go to the nearest Apexis Relic and play the game with at least six correct steps. Hand in the quest.

Ignore the quest Chu'a'lor offers you, and go directly to Torkus, who is nearby. Accept Our Boy Wants To Be A Skyguard Ranger. You need another 10 shards for this. The quickest way is to take The Relic's Emanation and invest 1 (or more) shards in playing the game with eight correct steps. This will give you 15 Apexis Shards as a reward. Alternatively, you can grind for the shards. Once you have the ten shards, go to either forge and exchange them for an Unstable Flask of the Beast. Go back to Torkus and hand it in.

Ignore the quest Torkus offers you, and go instead back to Chu'a'lor for The Skyguard Outpost. Take this quest and fly to the Skyguard Outpost. Hand it in at Sky Commander Keller and go to Sky Sergeant Vanderlip for the two bombing runs.

And that's all there is to it. Just remember to transform your flying mount into a Reindeer before you do Neutral 15 [70 Daily] Bomb Them Again!, otherwise you will have to wait another day to try again.

While running this chain at a high character level it is often useful to switch on the tracking of Low Level Quests, so you can quickly find the quest givers on your minimap and see the exclamation marks over their heads.
