Where does it say he is a Far Seer? And does anyone know what Clan he is from? -Rovdyr 17:12, 31 January 2007 (EST)

Feathermoon Stronghold is the name of the night elf island fortress located off the western coast of Feralas on Sardor Isle. It has a hippogryph point and can be reached from Auberdine, Nijel's Point and Thalanaar. The stronghold was established by General Shandris Feathermoon, who for the past ten thousand years has been Tyrande Whisperwind's right hand in the Sentinels.

Nazgrel is from the Frostwolf Clan. As for him being a Far Seer, there are only two things supporting it, and neither of them looks like sufficient proof to me. First, the name Nazgrel is listed among the standard Far Seer hero names in WC3, which is of course not canonical. The other is that he is dressed like a shaman in Thrallmar. Typical style of Lunarfalls, I might add, they love to make up such speculations and present them as official lore.
The stronghold is home to the master alchemy trainer for the Alliance, Kylanna Windwhisper.

Feathermoon is most easily accessible by a boat taken from Feralas in the Forgotten Coast, though many Alliance players who don't like to wait for the boat prefer to swim.

Where does this information come from? I've searched the WoW quest texts, CoH and HPG and found no confirmation of the above quote. The WoW manual states that Nazgrel is a member of the Frostwolf clan, which never took part in the Second War, and that Nazgrel was with the clan when Thrall first came to them, which means it's very unlikely Nazgrel was in the camps either. Nazgrel is very clearly not a shaman in anyway. In The Burning Crusade he has no shaman abilities, and does not have a shaman's appearance. Similarly, in The Founding of Durotar in The Frozen Throne he is shown as a warrior/raider, with a raider's abilities. Finally, in Warcraft Adventures he is very noticeably a Frostwolf raider - a shaman called Nazgrel cannot be based on this character in anything other than name and perhaps clan. He does not say anything shamanistic in any incarnation (in Warcraft Adventures he is obsessed with honour and the sacred hunt, and is a stark contrast to the Far Seer Drek'thar. The random Far Seer "Nazgrel" should therefore be considered a seperate character, just like the Maim and Rend in Outland in The Frozen Throne should not be considered the same as Maim and Rend Blackhand, despite having the same names. The TCG lists him as a shaman, but the TCG is repeatedly wrong about the character classes of lore characters (Velen a shaman?). The person who designed the card probably got that information from here.--Weasel (talk) 12:27, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
