Notes

  • Many Feral Druids consider this as a "pre-Cheetah" travel power because of its relatively low talent investment (2 points). Its first rank can be obtained at level 20 - ten levels prior to Travel Form.

Tips and tactics

Raiding

  • Full investment in this talent for a bear tank is wise, since dodge is one of the few mitigation statistics available to the role.
  • A druid assigned to DPS will find Swiftness much less useful, since there should be little to dodge.

PvP

  • The speed benefit applies to stealth, which gives a feral-inclined druid great control of the early match, and any other time out of combat.
  • A great deal depends on range in PvP, and any bonus to movement is invaluable.

Patch changes

  • Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): The movement speed buff can now be used indoors.
