All weapons with more than 54.8 DPS granted druidsferal attack power. No weapon has a specific bonus to feral attack power. Feral attack power could be increased further with the [Predatory Strikes] talent.
This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.
With the release of Cataclysm, Feral Attack Power was removed. Instead all attacks done in cat or bear form will be solely based on the Weapon Damage portion of the weapon[1]
Occasionally, the displayed feral attack power seemed to be just one point more or less than what the displayed weapon dps would evaluate to, this was because the latter stat was already rounded for display.
Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): All weapons now have the potential to grant feral attack power based on their dps (as compared to the best superior-quality weapons available at level 60). Players will see their existing feral weapons grant roughly the same attack power as they did before (+/- 2 or so), but many new weapons will be options for the feral druid. Some feral weapons have had strength converted to attack power to be more appealing to other classes able to equip them. All druids will see the amount of feral attack power granted by an item in the item tooltip, if it grants any, but other players will not see that information.
Prior to this patch, only specific weapons provided feral attack power bonuses, which came at the expense of DPS.
