Fire Beetles are neutral level 1 beetles found skittering about in the volcanic regions of the Eastern Kingdoms, the Searing Gorge and the Burning Steppes. They require the high temperature and humidity to survive.
They are also inexplicably found in the fiery corridors of Shattered Halls in the Hellfire Citadel.
Achievements
Killing one of these is required for 
[Pest Control].
