Fire Plume Ridge

Fire Plume Ridge.

Fire Plume Ridge is the volcano in the center of Un'Goro Crater. Lava flows down the sides of the mountain, where fire elementals can be found. The strongest of all fire elementals in Un'Goro, Blazerunner, lives within a cave at its peak.

The fiery mountain forms a natural border where the jungle meets the earth, scorched from lava flows. Shallow veins of magma flow beneath the bowl of the crater, heating the steam pools and geysers around Un'Goro.[1]

The hottest place in the ridge is apparently 428,000 degrees Kraklenheit.[2]

Ringo came to the ridge to explore and ended up getting lost and now suffers from heat exhaustion, he can be found in the southern cave.

After the Fourth War, Zekhan reported that the volcano continues to teem with elementals and wildlife. The spirits of fire told him that they have been burning here for centuries, petering out and reigniting over and over again. Zekhan would like to take Queen Talanji here one day if she'd agree, to keep up good relations between the Darkspear and the Zandalari.[1]

In Un'Goro's center, rising out of the foliage like a black stain, is a cluster of volcanoes: Fire Plume Ridge. Here the jungle ends, burned away by constant lava flows and fiery vents. Rogue fire elementals roam the area, and the heat is oppressive. The lava must touch the underground streams to the west, for the natural springs there are steamy, bubbling pools riddled with scalding geysers.[3]
