First Mate Hapana is Dread Captain DeMeza's first mate. He appears on the roof of the bank in Booty Bay on Pirates' Day. At his side is his rather large pet parrot, Nyuni.
He doesn't talk, but is shown to have a tattoo on his arm. The tattoo is of a heart with an arrow through it bearing the name "MAGATHA".
