This is just my theory as to the mysterious source of power that belongs to up and coming Warcraft protagonist, Med'an. Considering that Medivh was still being possessed by Sargeras at the time he had relations with Garona, isn't it entirely possible that some of the demonic essence from the fallen Titan passed from Medivh's seed (which would become Med'an) into the womb of Garona. In truth, the only way I can back this up is with the background lore surrounding the birth of Medivh, in which Sargeras' spirit was already intertwined within the womb of Aegwynn. I can only presume that Sargeras is able to pass on his spirit through intercourse as opposed to him hiding within Aegwynn until she actually conceived Medivh. I say all this because being the container of the last of Sargeras' essence on Azeroth would both explain the vast amount of power that Med'an has and how is able to master so many styles of magic (Nature, Arcane, and Holy) and would provide a convenient way for Sargeras to reenter the Warcraft universe.AhotahThunderhorn (talk) 22:17, July 8, 2010 (UTC) --AhotahThunderhorn (talk) 22:17, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

It's possible, but I'd be surprised it Blizzard just pulled the exact same thing with Med'an as with his father. The indications given in the comic seem to disprove this as well. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:29, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

i think that might change due to the fact that garona is in twighlight highlands and is more than a bit miffed with cho'gall, the reason for this as far as im aware has yet to be revealed. i cant see me'dan having gone twighlight, and i have no idea who would win in a fight between choggy and me'dan, i know that medivh would mop the floor with chog but me'dan is still a kid.... i guess we will find out soon enough. --Nazgren (talk) 23:34, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
