Hi all,

Today I was reading through the level 284 items on Wowhead and found five that I'd go after as a mage:

• [Cloak of Burning Dusk]
• [Bracers of Fiery Night]
• [Ring of Phased Regeneration]
• [Archus, Greatstaff of Antonidas]
• [Charred Twilight Scale]

Of these, only Archus drops off the Lich King; the rest drop off Halion. Is it possible, then, that for mages ICC25H isn't the endgame after all?

The reason for what you are seeing is that Halion drops loot of the same ilevel as the Lich King, but the Lich King only drops weapons. In terms of drops, they're about on par, but in terms of difficulty the Lich King is well beyond Halion. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 16:27, September 14, 2010 (UTC)
