Hi guys, this is my first attempt for manual patching and i need a bit help. My WoW version is currently 4.2.2.14545 and I need to patch it to 4.3.0 to play. I can't auto patch it with launcher as its very slow.

So I downloaded the patch mirrors from wow wiki and extract it inside my WoW folder( there are Data" and "Updates" inside the zip, but no update.exe)

Then I try to start the wow.exe and the WoW version is still 4.2.2. Is there any step I miss?

Personally, I don't trust patch mirrors. Have you tried downloading the client from the ACCOUNT page when logged into the official site? Look for the Download Game Clients link on the right side. --Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 1 Feb 2012 5:40 PM Pacific
