I had seen evidence previously, of critters sort of "leaking in" around the edges on occasion. Never long enough to attack, just long enough to see and wonder about. For areas with Phasing, I would like to see:
- Descriptions of each phase.
- Activities (probably, mostly, quests) that move a character from one phase to another.

- I have taken the liberty of altering the Fleshwerks page a bit to add a prototype for this. I do not currently have the ability to gain the needed descriptions first-hand, other than the final state. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 19:12, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Coobra: I was, at least in part, attempting to inspire others to take on this project (as well), given the amount of time I have available. And yeah, most phasing changes do seem hard to pin down. A few are fairly blatent (like Shadow Vault and Fleshwerks). I agree, Harvey, the NPC pages are at least as critical. More, in most cases a description like "phase #x" is not quite accurate for NPCs. For instance, the Hodir region (Dun Niffilheim? Storm Peaks, anyway), many of the quest-giving objects don't appear until particular quests have been completed, but I think might otherwise be independent. Does that still count as phasing?
My working definition of a full phase change is "if you have done thing X and a friend of yours has not, you are not visible to each other in the area". And that's a lot of research.... Anyone got toons on Chromaggus? ;) --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:36, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- Make sure your ideas are reflected on the phasing page. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 12:36 PM PST 22 May 2009
- Particular ideas you consider noteworthy in that fashion? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 21:35, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Argent Tournament and Court of Bones
I've recently been given direct evidence that the Argent Tournament quests Battle Before The Citadel and At The Enemy's Gates invoke phasing while you have the quests in your log. I'm not sure the full extent, though. Anyone care to run experiments? :)
