Maybe I'm missing something entirely important, but I cannot seem to figure out how to report that there was vandalism on the Horde page. It seems like it keeps telling me to add the editor's name to a list, but I cannot find where a list I can edit is.

This should answer your questions: WoWWiki:Violations. Here is some more information about the vandalism policy in general: WoWWiki:Vandalism_policy. Thanks for catching that. Raylan13@Wikia (talk) 15:56, January 19, 2011 (UTC)
I've been on that page. The two suggestions it gives me are (in reverse order): talk to the person, it may be a mistake. That was clearly not a mistake. They erased a whole section on the Horde's weaknesses and wrote 'Nothing' under the header. The second suggestion is to add them to a list. I'm more then happy to do that. I can't add the name to the list on that page, though, because I can't edit that page. Where is this list (that I can edit) that I'm supposed to add his name to? That page is a bit misleading. As I understand it, and judging by the talk page, it is preferred that suspects be added to the list on the violations page. The only reason you currently can't edit the page is because you are considered a new user. You can always revert the vandalism by reviewing the page history and hitting 'undo' (top left, there will be an 'edited by', then a drop-down menu--view full history), or you can leave a message on my talk page and I'll be happy to look into it. Oh, ok, there's a new user restriction on editing that page. That makes a certain amount of sense. Thanks for clearing that up for me. To be honest, though, reporting the vandalism was the reason I created a user profile in the first place, so that is more than a little frustrating. It seems to be the kind of thing that would drive away helpful users instead of encourage them. I think it would be helpful to create some sort of way that anyone, user or not, to report vandalism. Maybe a 'Report Vandalism' button on the bottom of the page that leads to a human check to make sure it's not abused by bots. Either that or maybe a check box or something when you undo an edit to mark the previous change as vandalism. You'd need to be a user to do that, but it would make it a lot easier to report it, and you wouldn't have people affected by the new user restriction on the Vandalism page.Heliotic system (talk) 17:55, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

That sounds like a great suggestion. I'll pass it up to the powers that be and see if there's any way to incorporate it. Maybe it's not possible, but it's definitely worth a look. Raylan13@Wikia (talk) 20:58, January 19, 2011 (UTC)
