Forums: Village pump → Warcraft games → Starting again

Ive played the game for 4 months but i got bored so i quit my acount. Now i think i want to buy the game and start playing. but i have two problems.

i dont know witch race and class to chose
server with people to play with. people that would do instances and quests with me and help me level up.

there are some classes ive been considering frost mage, hunter and shaman.

Well, you don't have to rebuy the game if you had an account, if you remember your account information, you can just start paying the monthly fees again. All your previously created characters still exist on the same servers you had them on. So you can just pick up where you left off... other than that, don't know what to tell ya, other than just pick a new server and start over.

For starters, race is mostly about aesthetics... Choose whichever race you think looks the prettiest/sexiest/coolest/least ugly/hottest whatever.

In terms of classes, make a character with each of those classes, and level them up to about level 20, 25, 30 (it isn't too hard) and see which one you like the best and run with it.

In terms of server, all servers are different, all of them have there fair share of jerks and nice people. Pick some servers that are in your time zone (it'll make it easier when dealing with scheduling of raids and things in the higher levels), and check out their articles here on wowwiki or even the official forums and see which one strikes your fancy.
