I want to add that at most pages there is a "Things that class wants none-class to know" exept at the Shaman-page on WoWwiki. I'm playing a shaman myself and since the new Icecrown Citadel dungeons, people tend to forget my totems cost mana and time to replace (I'm a resto-shaman). Maybe its a good idea to add such things as well, because due the fact shamans are so versatile, and our range is wide instead of deep, other classes think of us that we can do all at once, without having mana-breaks in between. Fact is that indeed we need less mana-breaks due our mana-spring / mana-tide totems, still after heavy fights we often run out of mana if the healing needs to be more intensive and raid / group-wide. Also due the new dual-spec ability, people tend to forget we need to regain all our mana if we switch during two fights, meaning tanks rush on without checking on their healer (usally a shaman). Iam aware of the fact that we are the least played / popular class on the realm, but it would hurt to give us a bit more respect for our ability's and totems that after all aid the whole raid-group! --Karsrosenkamp (talk) 13:44, January 31, 2010 (UTC)

While I understand your frustration, that is personal raid issue. Many mana classes have to deal with the tank that doesn't like to wait, that's not just a shammy issue. If its a guild raid, talk to your tank, raid leader, guild leader whomever is in charge about it. If its a PuG raid, then whisper the tank and talk it out, if you say nothing, then they'll think there is no problem. And if you do something and they ignore you, don't raid with them. No one is going to wait for anyone to be at 100% mana, I've had tanks continue to pull even when my mana is at 5% and I'll spend the whole next group of mobs with just viper on getting my mana back to 100%. I don't play my shammy a lot so I can't remember much about them at time, but I do know they don't have quick mana up abilities (I don't think) like many other classes. If anything get mage water/bread, or buy some and sit and drink while they continue on... they won't miss you for trash for a few seconds. User:Coobra/Sig4 19:33, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
