In the Queen Azshara page of WoWWiki, Queen Azshara, it is written about the War of the Ancients, and the resistance of the Stormrage brothers, Tyrande Whisperwind, the priestess, and that they were helped by a dragonmage in elf form - Korialstrasz, a skilled human wizard - Rhonin and a seasoned orc warrior - Broxigar who came from far into the future:

"Eventually a resistance was formed, but Azshara paid no attention to their efforts. Sargeras dispatched three of his most dangerous minions to do his bidding: Hakkar the Houndmaster, Mannoroth the Destructor and finally Archimonde the Defiler. All three commanded and watched over the Legion and would have prevailed had it not been for the efforts of three night elves: Malfurion Stormrage, the druid; Illidan Stormrage, the sorcerer and twin to Malfurion; and Tyrande Whisperwind, the priestess; as well as three heroes from far into the future: a dragonmage in elf form, a skilled human wizard, and a seasoned orc warrior. " taken from Queen Azshara page.

My question is, if Furion and Tyrande were helped by a human and an orc, why the the second coming of the Burning Legion war that is going on in Warcraft III Reign of Chaos, don't they recognize the humans and the orcs, and they call them, outlanders roaming free on their most sacred vales? Even when they meet up close with Jaina Proudmore and Thrall summoned by Medivh, the priestess Tyrande, asks: "Who are you outlanders?" Have they forgotten about this races, in 10.000 years it's a strong possibility.

Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos was released long before the events described in the War of the Ancients Trilogy were written, so Furion and Tyrande of WC3 don't know about the time-traveling dragon/human/orc when the game was released. However, time-travel is not common in even the Warcraft universe and certainly would be viewed with suspicion if Furion and Tyrande were to be friendly to humans and orcs based on the explanations that they met some time-traveling ones thousands of years before.
Also, humans and orcs are still technically outlanders in the forests of the night elves, even if Furion and Tyrande befriended a few of them a long time ago. --Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 7 Feb 2011 11:58 AM Pacific
