Adding your characters to WOWDB is easy. Simply copy and paste a URL from the World of Warcraft Armory, and we'll automatically integrate your character into WOWDB.Your character data will update automatically when you login, and the equipment of the character you've set as your "Main" will be pinned for tooltip comparisons. Your character's race and gender will also be used when you view Interactive Previews.

They even have a client, which seems rather fishy. Anyhow, I don't know for certain if this is the cause, but this happened about a day after it. Sure, it could be a keylogger, too, but I want to know if anyone else knows the validity of WoWDB.

Forums: Village pumpWarcraft games WoWDB unsafe?

(If this is in the wrong place, please move it)

Alright, so, let me tell you all a little story. Now, I don't know if this is related to WoWDB at all, but I can't think of any other culprit. Blizzard claims it could be a keylogger, but they only seem to be going after my WoW accounts, and I have a Mac, so that's a little harder to do (But still possible, I know). Anyhow, I haven't even had a WoW account for a week. On the 13th I was notified that my account was closed because I had spammed the in-game chat. Mind you, I got this message after waking up, having promised my boyfriend I wouldn't play without him, since we play together. After about 2 hours of trying to get through to Blizzard, they said I had been hacked, and they re-opened the account. I changed my password on battle.net (But not worldofwarcraft.com forum). On the 14th, after getting home from work and taking a long nap, since I went to bed at 11PM and woke up at 4AM (And was at work until 11AM), I find that my worldofwarcraft.com forum account was banned because of posting: cheats, hacks, Trojan horses, or malicious programs.

Now, back tracking a little. I was trying to find some nice armor. Now, I was looking for a website that showed it on characters. I found wowdb.com. They have this nice little thing where you can link your character to your account. It says:
