A [[Horde]] town located high on a mesa in [[Thousand Needles]], inhabited by a small number of [[tauren]]. Tauren settlements in Thousand Needles are constructed atop the tall mesas in the region, staying out of reach of the [[centaur]] warbands that have several camps in the area. The village on the mesa's top is accessible by the employment of the ingenious wooden lifts of the tauren, although there is a series of rope bridges spanning amongst the adjacent pinnacles, gradually working their way to the top.

The tauren of Freewind Post work to stop the activity of the [[Galak]] centuar in Thousand Needles. [[Roguefeather]] [[harpies]] pose a less dire threat to the stability of the region as well. Another large aspect of the society of Freewind Post deals with the [[wyverns]] of [[Highperch]], where young tauren are sent study the wyverns and to cull eggs from their ancestral nesting grounds to be raised as mounts for the Horde.

The Horde-aligned tauren of Freewind Post are growing continually more wary of the activities of the [[Grimtotem]] Tribe situated atop [[Darkcloud Pinnacle]] to the northwest. The Grimtotems are suspected to be involved in murder, kidnappings of Freewind tauren and visits from agents of unknown, but reportedly dark, origins. The chieftain of Darkcloud Pinnacle, [[Arnak Grimtotem]] is largely held to be responsible for these heinous transgressions. The Freewind Post tauren, [[Lakota Windsong]] was taken against her will when she refused Arnak's advances. Her brother was slain when he came to her defense. Recently, a [[Blood Elf]] presence has appeared in Freewind Post in the form of [[Magistrix Elosai]], who is effectively an exile of [[Silvermoon]]. Her controversial quest to seek a natural cure to the Blood Elves' racial addiction to the [[arcane]] has led her to Freewind seeking reagents to use in her remedies, along with help from her associate, [[Wizlo Bearingshiner]] at [[Whitereach Post]].

When Drahga yells {{text|yell|INCINERATE THEM, MINIONS!}} or {{text|yell|BY FIRE BE... BURNED!}}, a patch of fire appear on the ground. After a few seconds, an elemental will spawn at the patch and fixate on a random party member. If the elemental reaches the chosen party member, it will likely kill them. It is imperative that everyone moves away from the fire patch, DPS focuses on the elemental after it spawns (applying stuns and snares if possible), and the targetted person keeps away from the elemental until it is killed.

Drahga Shadowburner is the third boss of the Grim Batol 5-player dungeon in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. He's a member of the Twilight's Hammer.

Abilities

  • Drahga Shadowburner
    • Burning Shadowbolt — Inflicts 8000 Shadowflame damage.
    • Twilight Protection — Protected by the aura of the Twilight, Drahga takes 90% less damage!
    • Invocation of Flame — Summons a Invoked Flaming Spirit that fixates on a target. When the Spirit reaches its target it causes a Supernova, inflicting 50000 Fire damage in a 10 yard radius around the Spirit.
      • Supernova — The Invoked Flaming Sprit goes supernova and inflicts 50000 Fire damage and 2499 Fire damage every 1 sec to enemies within 10 yard radios for 8 sec. Cast when it reaches its target.

Strategy

When Drahga yells INCINERATE THEM, MINIONS! or BY FIRE BE... BURNED!, a patch of fire appear on the ground. After a few seconds, an elemental will spawn at the patch and fixate on a random party member. If the elemental reaches the chosen party member, it will likely kill them. It is imperative that everyone moves away from the fire patch, DPS focuses on the elemental after it spawns (applying stuns and snares if possible), and the targetted person keeps away from the elemental until it is killed.
