Frostguard was first discovered in WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne by Rexxar. It's previous owner was a footman who was the sole survivor of the naga attack on the human settlement. Frostguard is a main hand sword that carries a built-in icy proc which slows your enemies movement. You can then add another enchantment on top of that to create a weapons with 2 "enchantments". The main downside to the sword is the material requirements to make it. Frostguard is one of the few weapons found both in Warcraft III and WoW.

This wickedly curved and unnaturally sharp bladed weapon has an odd, bluish tint when held up to the light. Its surface is oddly cold to the touch, and in warm or humid climates a thin white sheen of frost builds up on its surface.M&M 126
