Reduces the damage taken from all spells by 6%. Frozen Core is a mage talent that reduces damage taken by spells of all schools by 2% per point, up to 6% at max rank 3.

This talent's main use is in PvP situations against caster classes such as Priests and Warlocks , though there are often better talents in the Frost tree that help avoid damage altogether rather than mitigate it.
Prismatic Cloak in the Arcane tree offers a similar damage reduction of 2% per point, but it applies to all forms of damage.
